Nobody’s Connecting This Marvel Exec to Blade’s Cancellation — Here’s My Theory | Chairman’s Corner Blog by Vince Valholla

In my latest post on The Chairman’s Corner blog, I share my theory that Blade’s cancellation could be linked to the exit of former Marvel executive Nate Moore, producer of Black Panther. I explain further in a new video posted on my new YouTube channel. Normally, I would have posted this on Valholla’s YouTube channel, but I want to post more think pieces and sidequest stuff on my new channel.
Here’s a video synopsis:
There’s no shortage of theories on why Blade, Wonder Man, and Ironheart never made it to the finish line, and most of them point the finger straight at Kevin Feige and Marvel not wanting these stories told. I don’t buy that. In this video, I lay out a different theory: one that centers on Nate Moore, the 14-year Marvel Studios veteran who quietly exited the company in late 2024/early 2025, right as all three of these projects started falling apart.
