Did you know that the first “TrapnB” song was released in October 2013 by an artist named Kirby Maurier. The song is called “Iz U Wit It” produced by Vegas Fontaine and the song later appeared on the independent album ‘Doing The Most’ (for transparency, I executive produced the album).
It was released on Valholla Records, and the album featured numerous songs from the genre. It was experimental at the time but it ended up being one of the most successful independent albums I’ve been a part of. In my opinion, the album was ahead of its time.
