BIO

Born as Samuel Saez III, this alternative/melodic R&B songwriter and singer (better known as Samie Bower) — is a crossover of PBR&B to Pop/HipHop; bringing a darker tone within lyrical presentation, while constructing eerie-upbeat tones — born in California, yet raised in the Garden of New Jersey.

Samie’s first demo “So Much” released in late-2015, being mastered by Grammy Award Winning engineer Randy Merrill, which began a number of releases including “Blame” and “F.T.H.” This lead up to his debut self-published, independent album “If You Insist” released on May 12, 2017. Obtaining more than 500,000 streams by the end of the year (through music streams and mixtape streams respectively). His sophomore album “New To You” was a released under Mickey Shiloh’s label “BDRM Records.”

Bower is currently independent working on new releases constantly throughout 2020. His latest worldwide release “Skyline” has attracted global attention along with releasing two albums “Surreal Intentions” & “Pop N’ Trap Type Beats.” As of now, the Samie has his latest single “Don’t Bother Us” alongside Suzi & BAER.

– In 2018, Working with Award-Winning songwriter Mickey Shiloh, having released his sophomore album “New To You” (featuring Mickey on two records) under Shiloh’s label “BDRM Records.” Bower has since been the only other artist under BDRM Records besides Shiloh herself (who has however ventured hundreds of artists under her second label “HRDRV Records”). Also having worked with Grammy nominated engineer Lorenzo Cardona, alongside artists like Blackbear and Post Malone.

– Bower has made drastic jumps from college, to full time, to leaving it all behind having gone homeless in LA for a year plus, to then jumping from 6 places in the State of California all in a matter of 5 months.

– In recent times, Samie has released two projects “Surreal Intentions” & “Pop N’ Trap Type Beats” which received very postive reviews, with one of the singles being “Skyline” which projected a very pop sound for the artist.
