Bleu Odin, a subsidiary of Valholla Entertainment (founded by our Chairman/CEO Vince Valholla) was initially set up to offer marketing services to other companies along with Valholla in-house. After 8 months in business Bleu Odin was expanded to handle production of all music videos for our entire roster. That proved to be a great move because as a company we released more visuals than any other year (2012).
Fast forward to 2013, Vegas Fontaine produces and co-writes a song for recording artist Tosh Alexander titled “Tell Me Why”. Her manager, B.Stan sees Vegas Fontaine’s music video “What I Do” (shot by Bleu Odin) and decided to commission our sister company to direct a music video for “Tell Me Why”.
Up to this point, Bleu Odin never shot any videos for artists outside of the Valholla Roster but with Vegas’ involvement agreed to shoot it. Today, the video is now playing on MTV JAMS, marking it as the first music video produced/directed by Bleu Odin to appear on Television.
