After the release of his self-titled album, Future last week, (February 17, 2017), Future premiered his new album HNDRXX on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio tonight ahead of its Friday release. The album features production from Valholla’s own, The Track Burnaz for the track “Use Me” with Detail and Sidney Swift also on production.
The 17 song set, according to Billboard can potentially make history. “…With the unprecedented achievement in the next two weeks on the Billboard 200 chart, thanks to the one-two punch of his pair of new albums: a self-titled set (which was released Feb. 17) and his upcoming HNDRXX (due out Feb. 24). Both were released through A-1/Freebandz/Epic Records.
Industry forecasters suggest his self-titled album could debut at No. 1 on the March 11-dated list with perhaps 150,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Feb. 23. If HNDRXX performs just as well, it too could open at No. 1 (on the March 18 chart), granting Future a first: back-to-back No. 1 debuts in successive weeks.
In the Billboard 200’s nearly 61-year history, no act has debuted at No. 1 in consecutive frames, although acts have replaced themselves at No. 1 — just not with back-to-back debuts in the penthouse.”
The Track Burnaz production credits also appear on Big Sean’s I Decided. album with the track “Inspire Me” with Detail and Sidney Swift also on production. I Decided. debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 151,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Feb. 9, according to Nielsen Music. I Decided. was released on Feb. 3 through G.O.O.D./Def Jam Recordings.
“Bad Tings”, the DB Bantino featured single from Freebandz/Epic Records recording artist Zoey Dollaz, also produced by The Track Burnaz is also enjoying success on streaming services and is currently impacting radio right now.
