In the Spring of this year, GRAMMY Amplifier® winner Kirby Maurier embarked on a multi-city tour that included a stop at The Uptown in Oakland for the GRAMMY Pro Songwriter Summit. Joining Kirby was D’Wayne Wiggins of Tony! Toni! Tone! and Oakland blues musician Fantastic Negrito. The three songwriters shared the stories behind their songs and “Paradise” was one of the songs Kirby Maurier performed. The original version of “Paradise” appeared on Kirby Maurier’s independent debut album and serves as the current single. “Paradise” (Live In Oakland) features GRAMMY Winning producer Kevo on guitar and the song is produced by Vegas Fontaine.
